ORBERSON Paul Clark, 56, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2013. He was born to the late Edward and Sheila Orberson of Danville, KY on December 18, 1956 in Lexington, KY. Paul's greatest passions and commitments were for his faith in Jesus, his family and his love for people. His generous and uplifting spirit were always present in his smile, his words, and his relationships. As a young man he was an outstanding athlete in multiple sports at Boyle County High School, where he graduated in 1974. He went on to play baseball at Western Kentucky University where he held multiple records and earned All Ohio Valley Conference honors, graduating in 1978. For 13 years, Paul was a beloved high school teacher and coach of multiple sports at Casey County High School, Kentucky School for the Deaf, and Boyle County High School, where he impacted the lives of many students. He later went on to become a successful entrepreneur and generous philanthropist. He was an avid UK fan and enjoyed his role on the President's Board of Advisors at Western Kentucky University. He was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church in Lexington. Paul is survived by his wife Sheryl, his son Jeffrey Orberson (Ashley) and children Will, Carter, and Jack, daughter Sarah Orberson, step-son Bryan McMorrow, and step-daughter Shannon Jensen (Ty) and their sons Brody and Connor, brother Michael Orberson (Amy), nephew Nicholas Orberson and niece Meredith Orberson, sister Karen Levy (Barry), niece Laura McDonald (Doug) and nephew Brad Levy, aunt Beverly Jordan (Johnnie), and former wife and friend Carla Cunningham (Clay). Visitation will be held Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Calvary Baptist Church, 150 East High Street, Lexington, KY from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Visitation will also be held Monday, December 9, 2013 from 12pm until a celebration of his life service at 2pm. Burial will follow at Lexington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 150 East High Street, Lexington, KY 40507.

Paul was a man of God you could hear it in his voice as he talked. I met Paul when FHTM 2001. You could see the love of God in his heart. Paul just wanted to help people. God Bless each one of his family and friends.

To the family of Paul, may you find joy in the memories that surround his life and may allow Jesus, to help you carry the weight of this burden. Paul has had powerful impact on many lives. I believe he fulfilled his purpose and now can take his rest.
Our prayers are truly with and also our rejoicing

My prayers go out to the Oberson family. My husband Ray and I loved hearing him speak. Ray to battled cancer. I remember when he went to Los Vegas he came home and told me Paul told him he didn't have to die. Ray changed his diet, took vitamins, but the big thing was speaking God Word over his body. He survived cancer twice. Cardiac Amylidosis took him out May of this year. Hes with Paul enjoying a better life. Sheryl I am so sorry for you and your family. I know it was so hard at Christmas. Thankful we all have Jesus!

Paul's leadership and success in the MLM business was an example of God's love for us all.

He used Paul to teach us that success starts first with the love of Jesus.

Rest In Peace.

To The Family,

Clarence and I were shocked to hear that Paul has gone to be with the Lord. We will never forget the informative business meetings and workshops presented during our work with Excel Telecommunications.

We pray that God will keep the family during this difficult time.

Thank you for your leadership and inspirational book. You will continue to be a blessing to those you have touched. Heaven has gained a loving soul.

I feel so very fortunate to have Paul be a part of my life.
It was his words of strength and encouragement that helped to get me through the cancer battle we had in our household. Being a thumb-sucking cry-baby does not a winner make.
However, sometimes, that is just not enough.
He touched many hearts and souls with "Paulisms". He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
The world has lost a GREAT one.

One of the first things Paul asked me when I introduced myself to him at a meeting in Grand Rapids Michigan was, are you married? I said, Yes! He then said, I'm going to show you how to win for your Family and he said it, FROM THE HEART. What a wonderful God fearing man. Love you Paul. Rest In Peace!

I'll never forget the first time I saw Paul speak publicly at San Jose State University in California in 1996 the owner of the company begged him not to attend because he was very ill unbeknownst to everyone flu or pneumonia but if you know Paul he was having none of it he gave the best motivational inspirational uplifting words of hope I had ever witnessed up to that point in my life in person and I didn't find out till later that he was badly ill and made the National trip nonetheless. Great man of God!

Karen and Oberson Family,
I met Paul thru Excel before I met the Levy's but never got to know him as I do you all. My plans were to visit but I was never able to get with anyone else and thought it best not to drive Sunday. My car is only one running in family so boys had to go to work Monday. You know you have my prayers at this time. Having recently lost a loved one (whose birthday is DEc. 6) I can only be comforted by knowing we will mneet again and be thankful for rhe memories of the years we spent together. Thank God for Jesus who gives us victory over death. May His peace comfort you all.

I remember Paul from back in the days at Excel Communications during the mid 90's when I was aggressively promoting there at the same time. He was a smart marketer and knew that you had to keep the conversation real simple with prospects.

He knew that he needed to quickly remove himself out of the equation so the prospect did not base the opportunity on him alone. I learned a lot from his wisdom then. Condolences to the family and friends of Paul. He will be missed.

All the Best,

Dear Orberson Family,
I was saddend to hear of Paul's passing. Paul was a great man who wanted to help others to be the heros for their families and sharing this gift in word and in deed allowed him to lead thousands of families to that winning threshold. My life has changed forever knowing such a great man as Paul! I still use alot of the Paulism's today that were so simply profound. My favorite.."You don't know the difference until YOU know the difference"! I will see you one day and until then you will be greatly missed by all..

Dear Orberson Family,
We remember Paul as a leader who had a great amount of compassion for people. Praise GOD for his free gift of salvation and forgiveness through faith! I asked Ellen Price if Paul had this assurance and she told me he did. So although he will be missed greatly here, it's not goodbye. It's just see ya later :) Praise GOD for that comfort!! My grandmother always had just the right words "Sorrow is not forever, Love is....." Love and prayers to your family

I still do not understand the natural ways of the world, but I do understand the supernatural ways of God. Paul was a great man with a big heart. He made you feel like you were the most important person in the room. What a gift to ALL of us for having him in our lives. We have been calling all our friends and saying all his "Paulisms" to each other...my favorite, "God's gift to you was your life, your gift back is what you do with it" We have the whole Orberson Family in our prayers.
