Paul E. Peterson

Paul Earle Peterson passed away in Vancouver, WA on February 2, 2011 at the age of 84. He was born on October 8, 1926 to Walter and Clara Peterson in Oil City, PA. Paul graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in Electrical Engineering. He married Verna Brown April on January 5, 1969. Paul worked for Western Electric,Pacific NW Bell, AT & T, and Qwest retiring in 1985 after 25 years with the company. He served in the Navy after WWII. Paul was a handy man, enjoyed riding horses, the outdoors, boating, and travel.

Survivors include his wife, Verna, at home; daughter, Elizabeth Bilinsky, of Chico, CA; Step-son, Gary April, of Lake Tapps, WA, Step-daughter, Andra April, of Green Valley, CA; Brother, Gerald Peterson of Hamilton, Ohio. Granddaughters, Lilly Pierce, Hannah Pierce, and Cassie April.

There will be a private graveside family service on Friday, February 11, 2011 at 11:00am at the Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery in Portland, OR.
Contributions can be sent to the Ray Hickey Hospice House in Vancouver, WA.
