Paul Pontorno Obituary
Paul is survived by his wife, Rose; his children, Michael J. Pontorno, Jodi M. Ponce and Bree Yesil; his grandchildren, Paulina Ponce, Angelica Pontorno and Layla Yesil; his sisters and brother-in-law, Joanne and Richard Grunewald and Christine Meier; several nieces and nephews especially Todd Grunewald who Paul had a special relationship with.
Paul's funeral service will commence on Sunday afternoon, October 14, 2018 at 1:00 at the Church by the Sea, 2700 Mayan Drive, Fort Lauderdale. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family in Hollywood Memorial Gardens North.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Kraeer-Fairchild Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 4061 North Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale.

Paul and I were friends 50 years ago. Roommates in North Miami Beach eating Burger King every night, parking our motorcycles in our living room, pushing his VW to get it started and living at the beach. He was a great friend and we had lots of good times in Miami, And at our place The Pit off A1A in Fort Lauderdale and in Massapequa. I regret I never got to reconnect with Paul but it sounds like we both wound up with great families and happy lives. Everyone who knew Paul at sometime in their life has fond memories to share.
