Steven, Jimmy, Susan and Rick. Your parents were 2 of the wonderful people. I will miss them as you will, but I expect them to be among the first to meet me in heaven.

Please accept my deepest condolences on Garry's passing. It was one of my greatest pleasures to have taken care of him at the Cross during his treatment. He was a dear sweet soul and I know we will meet again someday in a better place where he will be able to dance on his legs again. God Bless his family during this time.

We fondly remember Garry's sense of humour and fun. He was an inspiration to all lay people with his dedication to the Lord and His Church. We will never know the thousands of lives he impacted and help through his work with LLL and The Rock. Our prayers are with Garry's family and firends who share our mourning.

Muriel and I share the loss that you his family have sustained, first with your mother, Delores, almost two years ago and now with your dear father. They both meant a lot to us when I was a young pastor at St. Peter's in the 1960s and in the years after they returned to Edmonton in retirement. They knew from their own experiences the difficulties that pastors encounter as they struggle with being spiritual shepherd in the real world, as well as the joys encountered when one does ministry in the grey areas. St. Peter's congregation will not be the same without them and all of us are better for having known them.
Yours in Christ,

We are sad that the Lord has taken Gary from the world for he meant so much to us and many others. But we rejoice in his strong faith, give thanks for his life-long faithful service to Christ and His Church. We will never forget his corny humour especially in lederhosen singing "It's lamp lichten time in der taller!" with the men of St. Pete's. We loved you deeply and thank you for making us a part of your family through the years.
Much love to you dear family

Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you mourn a wonderful man. I don't recall ever seeing him without a smile on his face. I remember your dad driving me to the hospital once for an injury I had sustained at school and as he was driving I thought to myself "he's going to be in there with me if he drives like this" but we made it. (Thank God) I will miss him greatly. Praise God for a wonderful man who touched many lives.
