Dr. Paul Charles Rivard, age 57, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed on Wednesday, January 25, 2017. He was born in Dearborn, Michigan on July 17, 1959. Paul was the owner of Knoxville Podiatry Group, President of the Medical Examiners Board and a member of Sacred Heart Cathedral. He loved life and lived it to the fullest, was an avid golfer and loved his children more than anything.
Paul is preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents; and mother, Judith Ann Rivard. He is survived by children, Clark Addison and Reagan Marie Rivard; father, Lacel Rivard; brother, Ken(Linda) Rivard; sister, Colleen Rivard; best friend, Dr. Chris (Debra) Brown; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 711 South Northshore Drive, Knoxville, on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Paul's honor may be made to American Cancer Society, 871 Weisgarber Road, Knoxville, TN 37909 or American Heart Association, 4708 Papermill Drive, Knoxville, TN 37909. To The Rivard Family
We just found out that doctor Rivard passed away in 2017. So sorry to hear about his passing. He took care of our elderly aunt's feet with so much patience. I also saw him for my foot issues several times. He was professional but easy to talk with. I am sure he will be truly missed by his patients. May God continue to keep his loving arms around the family.

I am saddened to learn of Dr Rivards passing when I was searching for his information to schedule an appointment with him. Dr Rivard took care of my bone spurs years before. I was going to seek him out as he was the type of doctor that listened, gave options, and helped me think through those options. He was the best type of doctor in my opinion. That is why I was looking for him again. Although his passing was the first of the year I know he is still deeply missed by his family and my prayers are with them.

I was so sad to hear about Dr. Rivard. I have been a patient of his and known him for about 20 years, he was a great guy and always enjoyed talking with him.
