I am saddened to hear this news. I remember Paul from my first year in college. He impressed me as someone who was undeniably smart, but also exuded an aura of cool--that combo left me a bit awe-struck. At the heart, he was a good, down-to-earth, guy.

I was in the same freshman dorm as Paul in 1992-1993, I remember is boisterous energy and ear to ear smile , and sharp mind. May his love of life yet glow in all his loved ones .

Me deepest condolences to Mark and members of the family. Though I didn't know Paul, his full life and accomplishments are impressive.
Mark, the loss of a child is always extremely difficult and never a "good scene." You appear to have many who will be a support system for you. Use them.
Peace,

y memories of Paul were when his father lived next door. Watching Paul, his sister and father first walking up to my door I will never forget.

Not only was Paul one of the most brilliant people I've ever met, he was also among the kindest and most patient. He genuinely wanted to fix problems in this world, and I'm sad that he's no longer around to do so. He loved Denise and Violet above all else, and will be missed dearly by all of his friends and family.

I remember Paul as one of my biology students his freshman year at Albuquerque High. He quietly and respectfully devoured and analyzed all the information the course provided. We all knew he would do special things. Its sad to hear he left us so soon.

Paul was a very kind, considerate and loving father who enjoyed life and gave freely of his time and effort to liberal causes for the betterment of society -- we all miss him greatly.
