We are saddened by Paul's passing. He was a long-time student in my Continuing Education German class, and a regular participant in our semi-annual end-of-class German dinners. He was always so helpful, warm, and interested in what we did.

Paul helped and encouraged my sons, Michael and Joseph, in Troop 28 Boy Scouts. We all have wonderful memories of Paul baking apples and squash at the annual Turkey Trot. He was a wonderful role model for all the scouts in Dunstable, and a kind and intelligent person. We will miss him.

When the four adult leaders of Troop 28 gathered together, Paul was most often the one to bring some humor and common sense to a situation and remind us that "... this is really a teaching opportunity". His dedication to his family was always an inspiration and his ability to put an arm around a boy who needed special help and provide calm support was truly a positive influence on many a young scout. He will be missed but during his life, he made a difference.

Nancy, I was sadden to read in recent issue of Groton Herald about Paul's passing. Almost daily I walk past your house on Island Pond on my morning's walks and think of you and your family. My thoughts are with you.

Nancy Please accept our sympathy on the loss of Paul. He was a sweet man and I do remember when you guys picked up Robyn and went to Parker's Barn. You went out of your way to include her on your family breakfasts.
