STOKES, Paul - Dear, darling friend whose generosity, thoughtfulness and friendship touched many; Paul made such an impact on our lives. Many memories, but my favourite was his first time on a kayak and how impressed we were at how far he was out in the Bay only to find out it took him all that time to learn how to turn around and he was that terrified of letting go of the oar that his beloved Collingwood cap blew off and he just had to let it go. Thankyou for the laughter, your life-saving help, your generosity and your friendship. Our hearts pour out to all who loved him, but especially to his soul-mate, Di ... may angel wings surround you as the Holy Spirit whispers in your ear that "he is here with us and you will see him again". God bless you, sweetheart.

STOKES. - Paul. 24.5.1945 - 24.4.2013 The Trust and Employees of the Southern Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust were saddened to learn of the passing of one of their recently retired employees. Paul will be remembered always for his service to our organisation, his friendly nature and willingness to help. Our deepest sympathies are extended to Di and family.
