Paul Thomas Obituary
He was born Jan. 7, 1977, in Marion, Va., a son of the late Paul and Grace Lynn Thomas, and made his home in the Bristol area. He was a self-employed handyman and jack of all trades. He was a 1994 graduate of East High School.
He is survived by his son, Zachary Thomas; stepmother, Patsy Williams; sisters, Teresa McDavid and husband John Sr., Paula Hurd and husband Billy Jr. and Angela Bowman and husband Johnny; half sister, Michelle Schmidt and husband Todd; stepbrother, Steve Hampton and wife Sherry; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Kari Parks, Stevie Hilliard, Jessica Whaley, Misty Blackburn and James Sanders.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2008, in Shipley Cemetery, with the Rev. Phil Kestner officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be his special friends, Tim Gragg, Jacob Bushong, Mark Seaton, Rusty Shephard, Mike Tester and Josh Snypes.

Funeral arrangements have been made with Weaver Funeral Home.

sorry 2 here about paul.... he was a really good friend....i knew him 4 years he would give u the shirt off his back...this just didnt deserve 2 happen 2 him... but ive learned with tragedy something great will happen in his name!!!!! u can believe that

Paul was such a great guy and friend. He always knew how to cheer me up and make me laugh. My most favorite memory was of me Paul, and Kari at observation Knob. We played like little kids for hours and it was so much fun! I will miss him. I am so sorry that your family is having to endure this great lose. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. Just remember through Zack you still have a huge part of him. If you need anything just let me know!

When I heard about this I couldnt believe It. Paul was a great friend. It was just like yesterday I remember his smiles and laughter. Sorry I couldnt be there. Everyones in my prayers always.
