PAUL HAROLD WOOTERS

May 29, 1955 - February 25, 2025

Paul H. Wooters departed this life to meet his Lord and Savior on February 25, 2025. Born May 29, 1955 in Salisbury Maryland, where he lived the majority of his life as a much beloved son, brother, husband, uncle, cousin and friend to those that knew him. Known for his sweet warm smile and kind spirit, Paul brought love and joy into the hearts of so many.

After his graduation from James M. Bennett Sr, High School in 1975, Paul's work history consisted primarily within the poultry industry, construction and maintenance. One of Paul's happiest moments in life was when he married his soulmate and best friend, Brenda S. Brumbley in 1989. Although they had no children of their own, together they embraced the titles of Uncle and Aunt to their nieces and nephews as well as to many children of their closest friends and church family.

One of Paul's greatest enjoyments was listening to gospel music. He and his wife enjoyed traveling to hear gospel groups and attending Hymn Sings at local churches. For a period of time their love for the music ministry led them to be part of a gospel group, traveling primarily in the Mid-Atlantic region. Paul was a faithful friend and supporter to the members of this ministry and greatly appreciated his ability to contribute in this manner.

In addition to his wife Brenda S. {Brumbley} Wooters, with whom he spent 34 years of love and devotion, Paul is preceded in death by his father, Floyd H. Wooters, mother Helen M. {Prouse} Wooters and sister-in-law Rebecca S. {Troyer} Wooters. He is followed in life by an older brother Rev. Alvin F. Wooters, younger sister Judy H. {Wooters} Nicholson (Charles/Nick), nieces and nephews Teresa, Amanda, Michelle, Jaime, Jonathan, Joy, Chrystie, Debbie, Beth and Tyler.

Paul was a gentle and loving man who will be greatly missed by all that had a part of life's privilege in knowing and loving him. A celebration of Paul's life will be held at Parkway Church of God, 600 Edison Street, Salisbury MD 21801, on Saturday, April 12, 2025. Family will receive guests and visitors from 12:00 PM through 1:00 PM. Our celebration of Paul's life will begin at 1:00 PM.
