Paula Mae Clemmons, 46, of Florence, Ala., died Feb. 11, 2002, at Carraway Methodist Medical Center after an extended illness.Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2002, at Green Hill Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2002, at Green Hill Funeral Home, with burial in Greenhill Cemetery, Greenhill, Ala. Officiating at the funeral will be Brother Michael Jenkins and Thomas Glenn Thornton.She was a Kalamazoo, Mich., native. She was the owner and operator of Cove Hairstyles.She was a member of the Baptist Church.She is survived by her husband, Gary Clemmons, Florence, Ala.; sons, Phillip Eric Clemmons and wife, Michelle, Florence, Ala., Robert Chad Clemmons, Florence Ala.; mother, Jane Powers Gillespie, Greenhill, Ala.; three brothers, Robert Gillespie, Muscle Shoals, Ala., Jeff Gillespie, Killen, Ala., Joe Gillespie, Greenhill, Ala.; three sisters, Julia Patton, Muscle Shoals, Ala., Barbara Gillespie, Greenhill, Ala., Sandy Gillespie, Greenhill, Ala.; God-son, Brian Patton and wife, Carrie, Muscle Shoals, Ala.; God-granddaughter, Ashley Patton, Muscle Shoals, Ala.; six nieces; two nephews; special friend, Cathy McLendon-Markovitz, Florence, Ala.Honorary pallbearers will be Jeremy Rourke, Michael Jenkins, Daniel Romberg, Adam Bracey, Jeff Broadfoot, Hanken Baker, Jason Doan and Donald Holt.She was preceded in death by her father, Willard Ford Gillespie.
