Paula Lucille Riordan, loving wife, avid traveler, active community member, and cat enthusiast, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2015. Paula died peacefully, in the comfort of her own home, with her husband of 34 years, Phillip Riordan by her side.

Creative, beautiful, and intelligent, Paula lived a happy and fulfilled 64 years. She graduated with a degree in English from the University of California, Irvine. She was a talented writer and worked in the advertising industry for many years. She actively pursued her passion for travel, visiting a total of 38 countries. After retirement, she and her husband, Phil, became active volunteers at the Monterey County SPCA. She most enjoyed being an avid Forty-Niner fan, and she and her husband attended games religiously. Paula's fun-loving spirit will be always remembered and she will be missed by her family, friends, and community.

She will be deeply missed by her husband; her daughters, Tracie Fearing of Murrieta and Jill Riordan-Guettler of Long Beach; her sister, Linda McGregor of Clarksburg; her five grandchildren, and her two feline companions, Joey and Jesse. She will be joining her parents, Robert and Pauline Keener, and her sister, Shawnee Lupin, in a better place.

Please join us for a celebration of life from 12 to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 20, 2015, at the Monterey SPCA, 1002 Monterey- Salinas Highway, across from Laguna-Seca Raceway, Salinas.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials to be made to Monterey County SPCA or to Hospice of the Central Coast.
