Paulette Roberts Obituary
PEORIA - Paulette K. Roberts, 67, of Peoria passed away on Monday April 03, 2017 at 12:35 p.m. She was born April 12, 1949 in Peoria, IL. to Paul Gayton and Lillie B. McClain. They precede her. She married James Roberts he also precedes her.
She was a dedicated member of Oaks Family Church, under the leadership of Pastor Pat Sheets, where she served on the Usher Board. Paulette loved reading and listening to the word. She had a passion for collecting African American Santa Clauses.
She is survived by four daughters: Patricia, Marsha, Claudia Michelle Roberts and Kelly Ford all of Peoria; seven brothers: Johnny (Michelle) Ford, Roosevelt (Rosie) Alexander, Charlie Alexander, Jerome Alexander, Michael (Jeanette) Alexander, Joseph Alexander, and Tony Alexander all of Peoria: six sisters: Sherrill Ford of Peoria, Claudia Scott of Jacksonville FL., Rosetta Alexander, Juanita (Ilumanido) Pastoriza, Joyce Alexander, and Margretta Alexander all of Peoria, four grandchildren: Jamel, Paige, JayLyn Cook and Avery Ford three great grandchildren: Jayden, Trinity and Madison and a host of other family members and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by one sister, Linda Ford and one brother Henry Ford.
Memorial Services will be held on Monday April 10, 2017 from 6 to 8pm at Oaks Family Church located at 1003 E. Moneta Peoria Heights. Pastor Pat Sheets will officiate.
