Pauline 'Polly' Denison Pauline "Polly" Denison, 88, of Plain­view passed away on Monday, April 8, 2013, in Plainview. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 11, 2013, at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel in Plainview with the Rev. Gerald Boerger of St. Paul Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulia under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A visitation will be from 5-6 p.m. today, April 10, 2013, at the funeral home in Plainview. Pauline was born on Aug. 30, 1924, in Floyd County, Texas, to James and Agnes Walden. She grew up in Floydada and attended schools there. She married J.R. Denison on May 21, 1946, in Floydada. They later moved to Tulia and raised their family. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Tulia. She is preceded in death by her husband, J.R. Denison. Survivors include her two sons, Dennis Denison and wife Anna Laura of Halfway; Donald Denison and wife Linda of Mabank; two grandchildren, Jamie Goss and husband Michael of Tulia, Tyrel Denison and wife Sarah of Fayetteville, Ark.; five great-grandchildren, Brook, Avery, Lane, Liam, Atticus and one on the way.
