Pauline Bernadette Linton, age 81, of Goose Creek SC, entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 17 2012 at at local hospital. She was born in Lawrence MA on April 4, 1931 to the late Achille G. Duquette and Cecile Lambert Duquette. She loved her family and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Pauline sang in the church choir. She was the first lady to be named as a deacon in the Goose Creek Presbyterian Church. She was a Girl Scout leader and she loved her cats. Pauline is survived by her daughters: Pauline Loflin (Wayne) of Summerville SC, Theresa Olsavsky (Stephen) of Millersville MD, Catherine Kinkade of Mt Pleasant SC, Marie Starr of Goose Creek SC, and Carla Carswell (Scott) of Moncks Corner SC; son: Gadsden A. "Denny" Linton Jr. (Diane) of Summerville SC; sister: Elaine McCabe (Jack) of Phoenix AZ; brother: Ronald Duquette (Carol) of FL; 13 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Gadsden A. "Junior"Linton Sr. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 21, 2012 at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston SC 29406. Reverend Bill Thompson will officiate. Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at the funeral home. Services provided by Carolina Memorial Park, Funerals and Cremations. The family is gratefully accepting floral tributes in honor of Mrs. Pauline Linton, or memorials may be made in her honor to the American Lung Association, 44 Markfield Dr, Ste A, Charleston, SC. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.carolinamemorial.com/obituaries.
