Pauline Meyer

Pauline O. Meyer, age 95, passed away in the Arms of Angels as she entered Heaven on July 11th2021 at her home in Altoona, WI with family at her side.
Pauline was born on the 17th of May 1926 in the Township of Drammen, Eau Claire County to John L. & Mildred [Oas] Larson. She attended a rural country school and helped her parents on the farm.
She married the sweetheart of her life, Dennis F. Meyer on April 15th 1948 at Sacred Heart Church in Eau Claire. They enjoyed 73 years of married life together before her passing.
Pauline and Dennis enjoyed raising their two children Shirley and Michael and the many trips they took together.
Pauline and Dennis enjoyed many Sunday drives just getting in the car and heading any direction, not sure where they might end up. Being a farmer's daughter she especially enjoyed the countryside road trips seeing the farms and the farmland and its many crops.
Pauline also enjoyed her flower gardens and other types of gardening.
Pauline worked for over 36 years at the Uniroyal Tire Company in Eau Claire. After retiring she spent her time at the Senor Center in Eau Claire Jazzercising for many years and thought Nancy Ellis was the greatest Instructor. She danced until she was 90 years of age.
She also spent many years as a Demo for Mega Foods in Eau Claire. She loved meeting people and greeting them with a smile on her face. She always enjoyed how the children would sneak around and come for two or three helpings.
After she retired from Mega Foods she would be out and about, and teenagers and young adults would greet her and recognize her as the Demo Lady from Mega. It brought a great smile to her face.
Pauline is survived by her husband Dennis of 73 years; daughter Shirley {Clancy} Stocks of Eau Claire; granddaughter Angelea Meyer; two great grandchildren Ayden & Allison Miller all of Rhinelander; two sisters Audrey Myhre of Eau Claire, and Marion Larson of Lake Hallie; three brothers David {Judy} Larson of Mondovi, Melvin {Delores} Larson of Fall Creek, and Nobel {Ginny} Larson of Mondovi; a sister in law Delores Larson of Mondovi; brother in law and sister in law Gerald & Kathy Meyer of Eau Claire; sister in law Theresa Oberle of Eau Claire, and many nieces , nephew and a host of friends.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, her son Michael, brothers Lawrence & George Larson, two sisters and their husbands Jane & Wayland Hardwick, Myrtle & Owen Haugen, and a brother in law Richard Myhre.
The family would like to thank Mayo Hospice for the wonderful care they gave Pauline.
Everyone will miss her Wonderful Smile.
Visitation will be from 4 pm - 6pm at Stokes Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 S Hillcrest Parkway, Altoona on Monday July 19th with a Rosary Service to follow. Funeral services for Pauline will be held on Tuesday July 20th at 11 AM with Father Derek Sakowski officiating, with visitation starting at 10 am until the time of service at the church. Burial will take place at Calvary Mausoleum in Eau Claire following the service.
