Pauline Rodela Obituary
Pauline Marie Rodela, born on December 17, 1952 in San Antonio, TX entered into eternal peace on August 19, 2014, after a long, hard fought battle against cancer. Her grace and faith in our Lord was a light that never dimmed...a light that will shine on in all of us who were blessed to know and love her. Pauline enjoyed her years as Human Resource Manager with R. Hakim Corp. (IHOP) where she shared her kindness and generous heart. She was always giving of herself to her family, friends and co-workers. She is survived by her father, Paul Torres; her loving daughter, Corina Provencher and husband, Chris; precious granddaughters, Claire, Cate and Cara, along with her son, John Espinoza. She also leaves behind her loving memories to be cherished by her brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and many extended family and friends. A celebration of her life will begin with a Rosary at 10:00am, followed by the Celebration of Mass at 10:30am, on Monday, September 8, 2014, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 13715 Riggs Road in Helotes, TX. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Vitas Hospice for their support and tender love in her final days.

I had the pleasure of working for Pauline many years ago, and will always remember how kind she was and how she believed in her staff. Thank you for all you did for us you will be dearly missed by us all.

I was her Nurse at MSTH during 2 of her stays and she was a beautiful person and I just remember our conversations at 2am in the morning and til the end she was a beautiful/happy person who always had a smile and wanted to know how my life was going during her stay, said to see she passed away

Pauline was a precious neighbor and blessed friend. Her gentleness and kindness touched many lives. Her love of our beloved Lord radiated from her daily. Pauline was our neighbor on Country Swan. She always had a smile when you saw her. She loved working in her yard and decorating for the holidays. Pauline had such a great caring friend, Yvonne, who cared for her until the end. What a friend Yvonne Beltran was. Our condolences to her family. May she RIP now. We'll miss seeing you when we come home in November. You will always be in our hearts.

It was a pleasure to have worked with Pauline during our training time in IHOP # 3220 Edinburg TX. Kindness, patience and warmness are a few of the many qualities she shared with many of us through out her time. I am pleased to have met her, and had the opportunity to learn from her as well. I had the immense pleasure of working with Pauline. Her goodness was what made her so valuable. She never hesitated to help correct injustice, and she always supported everyone regardless of their position in the company. There have been a few unforgettable people enter my life.
