Pauline Swanson

Pauline Swanson (nee Hornbuckle), of Lockport, passed away at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home, Monday, September 17, 2018. Age 84 years.

Survived by her loving husband 65 years, Ralph R. Swanson. A daughter, Janis L. (John) Braasch and two sons, Ralph "Randy" (Charlene) Swanson and David A. Swanson. Six grandchildren, Phillip W. and Sarah A. Loetscher, Erin and Jacklyn Braasch, Robert R. and Thomas A. Swanson. Seven great-grandchildren, Elisha Ekl, Breanne Yacovacci, Nathan Loetscher, Coby, Paige, Zuri and Liana Harker. Her sister Patsy Mae Casson.

Preceded in death by her parents, Audie E. and Thelma L. Hornbuckle and her step-father, Joseph N. Lucca. A sister, Delores I. Hornbuckle and a brother, Robert E. Hornbuckle. A brother-in-law, Ron Casson.

Pauline was born in Joliet on November 6, 1933. She graduated from Lockport Township High School Class of 1951. Attended Church of the Good Shepherd in Joliet and Covenant Community Church in Lockport.

Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory, 2320 Black Rd., Thursday, September 20th at 10:30 A.M. Rev. Jason Bradley officiating. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial to Joliet Area Community Hospice or Shady Oaks Camp will be appreciated.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 9:30 A.M. until time of services.
