I had a three way connection to Pearl. Her daughter Kathy was a friend and colleague of mine as well as Kathy's husband Gordon at NWA, and Pearl was our music director at our parish. I had many great visits with Pearl and her family after Mass on Sundays after she lead us in vigorous song at Mass. Her obituary says it all! She was all that, and much, much more! I was glad for the opportunity to have connected with her. She is one of those individuals that help to make our world a better place, and was a " day brightened" whenever you talked to her. Rest in peace Pearl, and my sympathy to the Christenson Family.

My memories of Pearl(and the Christenson family) go way back, when she and Jerry met, married, lived in New Brighton, raised their family, and lived their lives to the fullest. We met many times at family celebrations and funerals. Pearl is in my memory as a "soul sister", with our love of music; she had a "joy de vivre" and shared herself fully with family, friends, her church and community. Last time I saw her was in Litchfield at one of the family funerals; gave her a copy of Lori Line's "On Eagles Wings", for her to play at her church services... My love and prayers are with you at this time of joy and sorrow...
