Bernie and girls; It has been many years since I have had contact with any of you, but I still treasure our days in Alvena and your friendship during that time. I always enjoyed getting together to paint with Peggie, Shirley and Marlene, as well as being on the library board together. We had some really fun times. I am so greatly saddened to learn that Peggie passed away.
She was a good friend to me for most of our 63 years. We shared many adventures together including nursing school and our first jobs as nursing students.
Peggie was always a supportive,concerned and caring friend. When I had eye surgery, she was almost more concerned about me recovering eye sight than I was.
Over the years she brightened many days for me with her e-mail jokes and sayings.
Rest in peace my good friend.
