I met Peggy many years ago at the (then) NWCA Foodlocker at Miramar. I was devastated to learn today she had died. There are too many wonderful memories I have of Peggy to recount here... she was like a second mother to me through our years together at Navy Wives club functions and conventions, working bake sales and air shows, and working at the Foodlocker. She was truly full of love and goodwill to everyone, and the world is a much darker place for having lost her.

My mom and dad talk about double dating with aunt Peggy and uncle Bob back in the day. Sounds like they had a great time!!!

I did not know Peggy, but we must be related as cousins. She seems to have led an amazing life helping others. I know her family is proud of her legacy. Please accept my deepest condolences on your loss.

Last time I seen Aunt Peggy was a family reunion, she was one of my favorite Aunt's, still hold the fond memories of living with her and Uncle Bob that summer when I was 15, they were just wonderful and all my cousins, she touched so many lives,
God truly gained a huge angel, and I pray for all her family, and those that loved her as much as I did

You were an Amazing woman with an endless supply of love.
You took me in, and gave me shelter when my life was dark. You never asked questions, instead treated me like one of your own and kept me safe.
You made a difference in my life.
I am Thankful, and honored to have had the privilege to have you in my life.
Heaven has gained an Angel with giant wings that wrapped so many here on earth in love. You are loved, and missed.
R.I.P. Mrs. Brandenburgh (mom)
