Resident of Santa Cruz
Peggy died peacefully in her sleep after a short battle with cancer. She was born in Portland, OR and was raised both in OR and Sunnyvale, CA. She was loved by all her knew her. Her bright spirit and caring ways will be missed. Peggy had many fond memories of family vacations at Mercer Lake, OR. She loved to cook, read, decorate her home and take care of her beloved pets. She is survived by her father John Brown, sisters Julie Kessler and Jacqueline Brown, and brother Mark Brown. Her mother, Virginia Brown preceded her in death.
Peggy resided in Santa Cruz for many years and was a longtime employee of both Janus of Santa Cruz and El Torro Bravo. Her coworkers, clients and customers were blessed to know her.
An informal celebration of her life will be held Feb. 10, 2013 from 10:30am to 12:30pm at the Santa Cruz Masonic Lodge, 318 Branciforte, Santa Cruz. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be sent to Janus of Santa Cruz, 2007th Ave., Suite 150, Santa Cruz, CA 95062.

To Wonderful Person Who Helped Me In So Many Ways

To my dear Peggy, in love and spirit I want to thank you for being so much of a teacher to me with great compassion. You taught me to be strong, see events in my life as they were, find solutions, be practical, honest, and compassionate. You always listened to me and gave me sound advice which always worked. You always pointed out what I was doing right when I thought of myself otherwise.You will always be alive in me since I will practing everything you have taught me and perhaps like you pass it on.....I will never forget you! To the family of Peggy, I am sorry for your loss and know that we were all blessed to have her in our lives, my sympathies and support.

PEGGY! What to say about a WONDERFUL WOMAN WITH A CARING & HEART.
I met Peggy 6/3/03 @ Janus if Santa Cruz. She always had a kind word & always had a smile on her face. I knew her from a clients point of view and as a co-worker for 5 years. She was always do helpful and willing to teach better ways to do things. (The easy way) :@)
I very honored to have know Peggy. I love and miss you!

I lived across the street from where she worked, she was outside often. I never knew her name but she was really friendly and chatty and always had something to say. She loved watching my husband building our trailer. It won't be the same without her familiar charm.
