Peggy Hodson Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 12, 2025.
Peggy Lee Hodson (nee Begley) passed away peacefully at home on June 9th, 2025.

Peggy was born in Springdale, Ohio, on December 25th,1948, to the late Chester and Eleanor (Payne) Begley. The oldest of four girls, she is preceded in death by her sister Cheryl (Frank) Broyles and Darlene Enzwieler.

She worked for 30+ years at Clarke Detroit Diesel and retired in 2011. Over the years, she enjoyed fishing at her lakehouse on Lake Santee, going to the casino, playing scratch-offs, and all things spicy. In lieu of services, we are asking Peggy's friends to play a scratch-off in her honor.

Peggy is survived by her wonderful husband of 55 years, Steve, son John Hodson (Monica Latchaw), grandchildren Joseph Latchaw (Kristin) and Robert Latchaw (Malisa), and great granddaughter Rozlyn Latchaw. She also leaves behind her sister Linda Isaacs, brother-in-law David (Lynn) Hodson, sister-in-law Jackie (Don) Winder, and many nieces and nephews, as well as her four-legged feline companions Buddy, Callie, Frankie, and Maggie Mae.

No funeral or memorial service is immediately planned. The family will notify loved ones in the future when a service is scheduled.
