Peggy Scott Miller, 77, of Midland, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2011. Peggy was born July 24, 1934 to Louis and Mildred Scott in Winters, Texas. She graduated from Snyder High School in 1953. After moving to Midland, she worked at City Hall for 17 years. Peggy was a member of Wilshire Baptist Church, and also a member of the Eastern Star and Epsilon Sigma Alpha. Crafting was her favorite hobby. She is survived by her son, Wendell Miller and wife Darlene; sister, Gynell McMillen and husband Huston; granddaughter, Kinsey Allen and husband Ron and great-grandson, Colton Scott Allen. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at the Wingate Cemetery in Wingate, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home. Condolences may be offered at www.ellisfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, donations may be offered to the charities of one's choice.
