Dear Steve, George and Gwen,
Penny's passing is sad news to the ears of an old friend and neighbor. We lived across the street from each other on Glenwood Drive in Abilene years ago. Our Dads both worked in the oil patch: I can still see that red and yellow Baroid car parked in your driveway. Thoughts of Penny bring to mind happy memories: our treks along the banks of Catclaw Creek catching crawdads or tadpoles and generally exploring nature, sleepovers and night time games of flashlight tag. She was an energetic, positive person who was always fun to be around. Those days of innocence will be cherished.

To all of Penny's Family, My heart is broken to find out my sweet friend has passed away. We were best friends in High School and remained friends for the last 46 years. She had a beautiful heart and soul, and I will miss her so much. My thoughts and prayers are with you. God love her and keep her in His tender care always. DeeDee Horton Hamm

Dear Julie and Tom,
Your Mother will be missed by all who knew her. She touched so many lives and made each one a happier one just being around her. I have such fond memories of her. I will truly miss her.

May God Bless you and your family at this time.

Dear Julie and Tom: Your Mom was the most beautiful lady and friend I could ever want. She has left me with wonderful memories of the times we spent together - in Arlington, out here in Bowie, at the University of Texas A&M and at both of your weddings. I will keep her close to my heart as an example of strength and love of her family and friends. Please know that you are all in my prayers.
