PETER ASHLEY-BROWN Obituary
Aged 83 Years
Beloved husband of Robyn. Loving father and father in law of Philip and Susan, Gillian and Scott. Adored grandfather of Claire, Jacob, Callum, Duncan, Annika and Nicola. Much loved and respected Priest in the Anglican Diocese of Newcastle for over 60 years.
Relatives and friends are respectfully advised that due to the current restrictions a private funeral service for Fr PETER will be held on MONDAY 22nd June 2020 at 10.00am. The service may be viewed through the James Murray Funeral Directors website: https://www.jamesmurray.com.au/tribute-centre

Around 1973 a new priest asked me to come to church. I did. That was in Muswellbrook.
I kept going to that church until I left Muswellbrook in 1982. That priest was Fr Peter as he liked to be called.
I remember him fondly.

What a wonderful spirit filled man Peter was. I remember arriving at All Saints Anglican Church in 1985 as a young mother with our 3 children in tow. Peter had been forewarned we were coming from Melbourne and he and the congregation welcomed me with open arms. He was at all of our children's Confirmations and milestone achievements throughout our church life there. My heartfelt sympathy to Robyn, Philip and Gillian and their families. I was so privileged to have known him and learn from him. Love Chris & Trevor (Ben, Dana, Amy and their families)
