Can't believe how much you and Grandpa John looked so much alike seeing all these photos posted here. Hope you and your brothers and sisters are having a ball up there in heaven. I still remember your wedding to Mary Ann and the raw ground beef and onion if I'm not mistaken? Yeah, not my thing then or now! Sending love and light to you and your family in heaven and on earth. ~ Giovanni (Rosalie and John's grandson)

It's hard to believe that's it's been one year. I miss you more than I can express! I know that you are always with me. I dreamt about you last night. Thank you for visiting me last night. In my dream I was driving you around and you were so happy. It reminded me of the time I was taking you to one of your doctor appointments and you had the window all the way down and were just enjoying the scenery and wanted me to just keep driving around. That was a good day! I love you Grandpa! Love Shelly

My dear husband, Peter: It is now one year since you have gone. You left so quickly, there was no chance to tell you how much you meant to me and say good bye. Now, I would like to say THANK YOU FOR
---27 years of a wonderful married life
---being a great husband; you were "one in a million!"
---your patience, understanding, kindness
---loving me with tenderness
---making "your family" and "my family - OUR FAMILY
---your generosity and your encouragement
---supporting me and giving me strength when there were difficult times, reminding me to trust in the Lord
---your beautiful singing voice and making up your cute little "songs" which brought so much joy to our home
---your sense of humor
But most of all, thank you for BEING YOU! I know that now you're in Heaven and I am here on earth, but SOMEDAY -- SOMEDAY, we'll be TOGETHER FOREVER! I miss you so much and will always love you. Your loving wife, Mary Ann

My Grandfather Peter was one of kind! He was the most warm, caring and thoughtful person. Anyone who has meet him probably thought the same. I will remember our talks, his goofy smirks and smiles that he made with me, his singing, and the stories he told and my heart will smile when I think of him. I will cherish those memories forever. He was the best Grandfather and Nonno(Nanu). He just loved that our family was growing and loved hearing stories, seeing pictures and visits with all the little ones. He was proud of his family and loved us all. I will miss him and having our time together. A piece of my heart has left with him. But he is with Jesus and I know will watch over us all. We love and miss you Grandpa. Love Michele and Karlie.

Peter was a very warm wonderful and loving person to our family. Our 5 kids, Peter's grandchildren loved him dearly. He was also a loving great grandpa ( unno) to our 9 beautiful grandchildren all under 6 years old, and one 16 years old . The young ones will know who Peter is as they grow up. We will all miss him and love him very much. I know God will welcome him with open arms as God did with both my parents and all 3 of them will watch over us with their love. The memories we have will live on in our family to cherish and comfort us with a smile.

To all of the family of my Uncle Pete, I send my sorrow and prayers. My Mom Rose Bellante Vento talked about Uncle Pete many times and I believe that he was her favorite brother, being closest in age. Miles separated them for most of their adult lives but their bond always endured. I know that they are together again in heaven.
