BLUNCK, Peter Peacefully at home on July 4, 2008, Loving husband of Patti (nee McFarland). Beloved father of Connie, Stephanie, J.P., and Rob. Peter is predeceased by his parents John and Ida. Dear brother of Bill Blunck and Dorothy Roos (Rudy). Dear brother-in-law of Marilyn (Ben), Nancy (Robert), Charles (Pamela), Geraldine (Ben), Joyce, Judy, Leo (Diane), Bruce (Debbie), Mary, Mike (Vicki), Cindy (John) and Cathy (Rick). Peter was a beloved uncle too many nieces and nephews. A very special friend to Bob and Sallie Mayea and Dave and Judy Mattatall. Peter was also a long time friend and co-worker of Bill Gatesy. Peter coached Riverside Minor Hockey and baseball for 27 years, and was a financial advisor in Detroit for 44 years. Friends may call at the Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Centre - 895 Ouellette Avenue on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. and on Monday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 8th, 2008 in the Anderson Memorial Chapel at 11 o'clock. Cremation. The family would appreciate donations to the Hospice of Windsor.www.mem.com

I talked to Peter many times on the phone at work. He was so kind and funny on the phone and always made me smile. Although I never met him in person, I am saddened by his passing. Condolences to his family & friends and sympathy during this difficult time.

Aunt Pat, JP, & Robbie - From those of us that live in Arizona, our hearts go out too you during this difficult time. Uncle Pete was a good man, a joy to talk too, and laugh with. Steve and I are so glad we were able to visit with everyone this past Sept. We had a wonderful afternoon just hanging out and catching up with Uncle Pete and you.
