Peter Bok Obituary
Peter was a graduate of Dartmouth High School Class of 1969 and attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He worked in transportation for InLine Technologies, a process equipment manufacturing company.
Peter loved music, singing, cats and was a very generous person supporting organizations that helped children.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his step mother: Anna Bok of Fairhaven, brother: Hans Bok and his wife Peggy of Dartmouth, a nephew: Kris Bok of Memphis, TN, a grandnephew: Conner Bok of Dartmouth, a grandniece: Penelope Bok of Memphis, TN and his beloved cat Junior.
His visitation will be held Saturday, July 22, 2017 from 2-4PM at WARING-SULLIVAN at FAIRLAWN, 180 Washington Street, Fairhaven. Burial is PRIVATE. Memorial donations in his honor may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept 142, Memphis, TN 38101 or Shriner's Hospital 51 Blossom Street, Boston, MA 02114. Hans and Mr. Bok: I was saddened to read about Peter's passing He was a great friend and teammate on the track teams at DHS. I remember walking to Atlas in Dartmouth on a winter's night to buy an album. We always had wonderful conversations. I wish you and your family healing and peace.

Peter's been a friend of the family and a personal friend it seems my whole life when I was 13 years old and started to get into music every time I saw him he would have a new record for me always on vinyl. Every time I buy a record I'll think of him. Together we went to my first concert which he of course paid for this typical generosity and concern for others. we lost touch through the years but I was fortunate enough to get back in contact with him recently he hadn't changed still over generous and enthusiastic about music we spoke frequently. 65 years is too short a time for my friend. Peter you will be missed.
