Peter Borys

BORYS, Peter Paul It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Peter Paul Borys of Leduc, Alberta; and formerly of Thorsby; on February 19th, 2009. Peter was born on July 12th, 1929; the eldest son of John and Eva Borys of Leduc. Peter will be lovingly missed by his wife of 55 years, Winnie; their only son John; his step-children, Beckie, Ryan, Brett, and Danni, as well as his granddaughter, Arika. He also leaves to mourn his loss one brother, Gordon; two sisters, Pat Gobeil, and Annette Hamilton (Len Fox); two brothers-in-law, Don (Bette) Dewar, and Morley (Della) Dewar; four sisters-in-law, Isabel (Dennis) Baker, Irene Bancarz, Margie (Harold) Grigat, and Muriel (Len) Stein, as well as many relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his father and mother, John and Eva Borys; his grandson, Kyle; one brother and his wife, Cyril and Doris; his nephew, Grant as well as two brothers-in-law, Claude Gobeil, and Edwin Bancarz. Cremation has taken place, and in accordance with Peter's wishes, there will be no Funeral Service; simply a silent prayer.
