Mr D. Sykes
Chesterfield Mr David Sykes, of Chesterfield, has died at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, aged 68.
Born at Chesterfield, and a resident of the area all his life, he was a miner for 30 years before his retirement and was a technician at Chesterfield College for a number of years. His interests included horse racing and football and in the past pigeon racing. He leaves, widow Patricia, two sons, one daughter and five grandchildren. Cremation at Chesterfield takes place Thursday, January 27, at 11.30am. Funeral director; Harold Lilleker and Sons, 369 Hasland Road, Chesterfield
