Peter Calabrese Obituary
Peter was a 1963 graduate of Technical Memorial High School. He served in the Navy as a Communications Technician for the NSA in Fort Meade, Md. during the Vietnam War. Peter was a gentle man as well as a gentleman. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters-in-law, Myrna Calabrese and Rosemary Calabrese; a niece, Sharon Calabrese; and nephews, Gary Calabrese and Steven Calabrese.
Peter is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Mary Lou Gavitt Calabrese; daughter, Kara Morgan (Matthew); son, Christopher Calabrese (Tiffany); brothers, Gary Calabrese and David Calabrese; sister, Carol Williams, of Valley Park, Mo.; sister-in-law, Carol Bisbee (Rick), of Congress, Ariz.; and grandchildren, Kyle Baney (Julia), Hunter Calabrese, and Sadie Morgan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Thursday, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and are invited to a graveside service on Friday at 10:00 a.m. in Section 10 at Laurel Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Healthwell Foundation at www.healthwellfoundation.org/donate/ or The Leukemia And Lymphoma Society at www.donate.lls.org/lls/donate.

sorry to see Pete has past on. He, myself, Eric Mitchell, and Larry Savillo put the soccer program at Fort LeBoeuf in place as a club program till the school finally took it over Pete was always the voice of reason

I'm so sorry to hear this! I worked with Pete at Ritter, and he was the face of the Erie store. Everybody respected Pete. He was such a gentleman. He treated everyone like they were important. I'll miss that smile of his and that light laugh. Prayers to his friends and family.
