We liked Pete from the 1st time we met him. He did a wonderful job coaching our sons in football. Then being a great man to our son Nick when Adam was Nick's roommate and friend. Our heart felt thoughts and prayers to your wonderful family at this very difficult time!

Could not believe the story today as I read it in a Face Book post. Pete was a real good gut who I knew in childhood through scouts and school. They lived a block away from us and I spent many days playing at their house as a child. I will remember him fondly. I will pray for his family.

Pete was one of the kindest and gentlest souls I have ever met. He was always smiling. The Holm family sends our condolences. He will be missed.

I only knew Pete for a short time. I met him when I went to work for him. He was a good co-worker/supervisor. However, he was a great person because he cared for everyone he knew as if they were family. Pete you will be missed by the many people that you have touched.

My mother woke me up this morning to show me the paper that had Pete's initial death notice and I was in shock and deeply saddened.

Pete was such a great man. As a good friend of Adam's I always loved coming over because Pete was so fun to be around and shared a lot of the same interests Adam and I had.

Julie, Adam, Ethan and Lindsay- You are such an awesome family and are in my family's thoughts and prayers. I immediately sent Adam a message this morning and hopefully I will be seeing you all soon. I wish it was in happier times.

I cannot say I have met him. But hearing incredible and loving stories from my friend, Ron, has given me only a slight but powerful feeling of how many lives Pete has influenced. Seeing and feeling the emotion from Ron shows how remarkable Pete has, is and will always be. God bless.
