PETER CATANESE Obituary
Age 90, of Russellton, West Deer Twp., passed away May 14, 2015, at UPMC Passavant Hospital. He was born February 27, 1925, in Oakmont, son of the late Joseph and Ann (Cicci) Catanese. Mr. Catanese was the co-owner of Catanese Brothers Auto Wreckers and Globe Auto Parts, Russellton. He is survived by his children, Helen Ann Goodhart of Springdale, Joseph (Gina) Catanese of West Deer Twp., and Anna Marie (Tracy Uncapher) Catanese at home; grandchildren, Melissa (Eddie Hawkins) Goodhart, Ashley Catanese, and Joey Catanese; brother, Steve (Carmella) Catanese of Arnold; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and beloved wife, Dorothy (Karp) Catanese in 2002; brothers, Roger, Angelo, Anthony, and Charles Catanese. Friends and relatives are invited to attend visitation 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, May 17, 2015, and Monday, May 18, 2015, at the ADAM SIEMIANOWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 179 Starr Rd., Russellton. A Christian Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, at Transfiguration Roman Catholic Church, Russellton. Interment to follow in Deer Creek Cemetery, Harmar Twp. My Mom (Mary Federenka) grew up with all of the Catanese brothers and spoke of many fond and good memories. May they all rest in peace now. We will surely miss this strong generation. Elaine Matze Lowe
