Peter Cherniwchan Obituary
CHERNIWCHAN _ Peter died peacefully in the early hours of December 23, 2006 after succumbing to a valiant battle with a lung condition at the age of 69. He was born on November 8, 1937 in Vegreville, Alberta and is survived by his loving and devoted wife Martha of 47 1/2 years and his two children Darin (Barb) Cherniwchan and Sharlene (Oren) Samuel and 7 adoring grandchildren Peter, Danielle, Holly, Joel, Vanessa, Nicole and Hannah. He will be missed by his two surviving siblings Mike (Pauline) Cherniwchan and Mary (Nickon) Trabysh and many adoring nieces and nephews, relatives and friends who hold him with much esteem in their hearts. The family would like to thank Dr. Ming Lai and Dr. James Glezos for their wonderful care and compassion these past 9 years. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, December 29 at Valley View Funeral Home, 14660-72nd Avenue, Surrey, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the B.C. Lung Association.

I just wanted to send my heartfelt sympathy to Mrs. Cherniwchan, Sharlene, Darin and your families. I remember Mr. Cherniwchan as such a nice, warm man. Always friendly and asking about the family when I would run into him after you moved. I know he will be greatly missed.
