I met Pete at one of the many Construction law conferences that he and I both attended each year. He And Marilyn were on the same airplane I was And we sat across from each other. It was 2009 or 2010 in April and our destination was New Orleans. Young Peter and Colleen may have been along on that trip too.
As both of us would do we engaged in conversation for the first time. This began a friendship which would continue to his untimely passing in 2021. We traveled together often for business, but it was also for fun and friendship. Marilyn was a regular companion right up till nearly her last days on earth. I still miss him his amazing personality, sense of humor, intellect, and genuine, love and zest for life.
Pete was a man of faith, a true believer and I know he and Marilyn are together in Heaven. God bless you my friend, both of you.

We were saddened to hear about Pete. The Comodeca's will forever be our favorite neighbors. We won't be at the Mass, as we are grieving the loss of your youngest son. Our love to Rose and family. The Kelleys

Pete was one of the finest men I ever knew. I was his roommate at West Point on several occasions (we used to rotate roommates every quarter so we would get to know our classmates). I could not have had a better roommate. He possessed a warm personality, a beautiful wit and sense of humor and was always positive, encouraging and helpful; most often during the academic and other hard trials of cadet life. He was brilliant, graduating in the top 5% of our class, yet humble and unassuming. He was one of the 2 or 3 smartest people I have ever known. In addition he was a superb cadet in every respect, so we used to avoid lots of trouble that plagued many new to military life. Finally, he was a devout man of Catholic faith, always doing the right things when facing life’s big questions. My life is much richer for having known him. One of the biggest regrets of my 38 year Army career was that we never served together after graduation and our paths never physically crossed again, though we did talk on the phone occasionally and email each other every so often. This is a true loss as we were all better for having had him in our lives. I’m truly heartbroken - he is gone way too soon.

With deepest condolences to Peter, and the entire Comodeca family on the loss of Pete. Always a cheerful neighbor on Bates Dr. and enjoyed watching the boys on the street playing together and parties.
He will be sorely missed. Gone to soon, as was Marilyn.
Blessings...Lynn (Hauschildt) Enders

Dear Faye, Peter and Colleen,
So sad to know of Pete's passing and much to soon. Going to miss seeing him as part of our get togethers with dear friends of which he was one. His presence always meant lively conversation and laughter and smiles. His foundation of faith in God was inspiring.

We were together in Company B1 at West Point. He was always cheerful, upbeat, living in his faith, one of the best in our class. He will be sorely missed.

Pete was a West Point classmate. Being in the same Regiment for three years, we shared academic classes, intramural sports contests, and more. He was a good man. Pete, we will see you again on the other side.
