Peter Joseph Driscoll

It is with profound sadness we announce the death of Peter J. Driscoll, our loving and devoted husband, father, Pop-Pop, and friend on September 13, 2023. Pete was 82 years old. Born in Upper Darby, PA, he graduated from Monsignor Bonner High School in Drexel Hill, PA, and went on to attend Villanova University. He worked for Sears, then for Boroughs Corporation. He opened his own company, Fidelity Business Forms, later Fidelity Graphics, in 1973. He, Clare, and his family resided in Lansdowne, PA from 1977 to 2010. Pete loved photography, boating, and G-Scale model trains, but what brought him the most happiness was spending time with his family at the cabin and all things Disney.

Pete married Clare Jean Casey, his beloved wife, in 1963 with whom he enjoyed sixty years of marriage. He became the proud father of Tracey (John), Christine (William), and Peter (Marta). He cherished his role as "Pop-Pop" to twelve grandchildren -Allison (Juan Carlos), Jordan, Johnny, Taylor (Tyler), William, Matthew, Jack, Erin, Victoria, Alexandra, Peter Joseph, Henry- and one adorable great-grandchild, Isabel. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Marianne Smith, and nephew, Marty Casey Jr.

Pete lived an extremely full life which included Eagles tailgates, concerts, musical theater, the Knights of Columbus, the Lions Club of Lansdowne, the Moose, vacations down the shore in Stone Harbor, or at the cabin in the woods. Pete shared it all with his family and friends.

Most of all, he was so proud of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild. Pete will be missed dearly, and his memory will be forever held within our hearts.

In addition to his wife and children, he is survived by his nieces and nephews, Kathy, Terry, Patty, Maureen, and Scott.

Visitation will be held 10:30 AM Monday November 20th at Saint Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother Catholic Church 8910 Gap Newport Pike, Avondale, PA 19311 followed by memorial Mass at 11:00 AM.
