FAUSER-Peter E., of Asharoken, on August 17, 2005, in his 74th year. Deputy Mayor, Village of Asharoken and proud member of U.S. Marine Corps and held the rank of Sergeant during Korean War. Loving husband and best friend to Ellie for over 53 years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Eric and Marilyn, Laura and Ray Hellinger, Kurt and Nancy, and Bruce and Kinga. Beloved grandfather of Kellie and Jay Venini, Jaime, Eric, Kristie, Robby, Ryan, Brittney, Nichole, Ross, Jilian, Lindsey, Jason, Bryson, Colby, and Kelsey. Fond uncle of Joseph Aiello. Reposing, Nolan & Taylor-Howe Funeral Home, 5 Laurel Ave., Northport, Friday, 7-9 PM, and Saturday, 2-5 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Service, Sunday, 2 PM, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, East Northport. Donation in Peter's memory to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 120 Vernon Valley Rd., East Northport, NY 11731, or Food Pantry, 330 Main St., Northport, NY 11768, appreciated in lieu of flowers.
