June of 1987 was when I joined the agency and first met Peter. A true professional who always had a smile. A dedicated professional who always put his client's interests above his own.
Heartfelt sympathy to Elke, Stefan and the rest of his family.

I had the good fortune to say, "Hi Mr. Greenberg" dozens of times in my life and I am grateful for that and his kind words. He helped make soccer possible in RVC and thousands of kids and families benefited from that.

I was priviledged to know Peter for the past 15 years. We always shared stories and memories about family. He was so proud of his family. Because I played college soccer, Peter was generous in sharing soccer stories. Our son John (JP) and our son Joe served as Captains in the US Army. Peter was always supportive and understanding of the challenges that they faced. His kindness and friendship will be missed.

I've known and worked with Peter since 1990. To say he was a gentle soul would be an understatement. Always a smile on his face and when he was having a bad day .... still that smile on his face. We used to chat about Eurocup and FIFA world cup at length between discussing client cases...try to guess which one took the majority of time :) He will be MISSED !!! My sincerest condolences to Elke, Stefan and the family .

When I started at Lenox I was assigned Peter's old office. He warmly greeted me and said I guess the old guys are in the cubicles and you young guys are in the offices now :-) I enjoyed our many conversations over the years and the friendship we formed. Peter was warm, sweet, and very thoughtful. He will be missed but leaves a wonderful legacy. Rest easy, my friend.

I've known Peter for 38 years, from when I started at Cowan Financial Group back in 1987. Peter was one of the young guns back then and was always looking to help me out and provide sage advice. He was a true professional and a wonderful man. 'Professional' didn't necessarily transfer to his tennis life, however. I remember winning the Cowan tennis tournament many years by hitting to Peter and keeping the ball away from the true professional, Elke. She tried to cover 3/4 of the court but to no avail. Peter always had the biggest smile on his face no matter what the score. He will be deeply missed and someone i will keep in my heart and memories forever. Rick Van Benschoten
