PETER GUENTER April 16, 1935 ~ September 12, 2004 _ The family of Peter Guenter is saddened to announce his death at Royal University Hospital on Sunday, September 12. Peter was born at Hague, Saskatchewan. He is survived by his loving wife, Jean; brothers: George (Bertha), Aron, & John (Elizabeth); brother-in-law John Doane (Gerarda); sister-in-law Edna Guenter; mother-in-law Peggy Pirie; sister-in-law Norma (Gordon) McIntosh; brother-in-law Reg (Joan) Pirie; sister-in-law Pat (Jim) Bateman; sister-inlaw Beckie (Terry) Harris; & their families. Peter was predeceased by his step son Don; his parents, and sister Martha. Peter worked for the Dairy Pool, Koyl Agency in Saskatoon, the Town of Kitimat, and then joined Royal Trust until his retirement in 1996. Peter enjoyed sports playing softball in his younger years, curling, bowling and lately golf. Jena would like to extend her thanks to the doctors and staff of Royal University Hospital and especially to Dr. Chris Buttinger. Peter will be remembered for his zest for life and living his life to the fullest. A Service of Remembrance will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 17 at the chapel of Saskatoon Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Daryl Woods. A private family interment took place in Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Sask. or charity of choice. Condolences can be sent to [email protected].
