I am so terribly, terribly sorry, and shocked, to find Pete's obituary when updating and working on my, and my deceased hubby Joe Haisan's family tree, who was Pete's uncle. Sincere condolences to everyone in the family. I regret that Pete, Camille and I did not meet up these last three years that I had moved back to IL after Joe's passing. Pete and his brother Mike used to come to our Des Plaines home in the 70s for many a TV sports and pizza weekend, sometimes with the kiddos and sometimes with Inga. One of my favorite memories is of little guy Petey. Joe and I had come back from a trip to Vegas and Petey asked if we saw Dan. Who??? Well, Dan Tanna, some name like that, of course, who was on some popular TV show at the time, lol, a Vegas P I, in the show. Little Petey also asked if we flew on some, and he gave a good long description of some kind of airplane. I clearly remember Dad Pete's wonderful belly laugh, also surprised at his son's conversation. RIP, Pete.

There is nor has been anyone uniquely like Pete...I knew him before and while Camille and he got together and it was a love that was special to observe. 34 years together is amazing and I am so glad they met and formed a lasting relationship! I will always remember his hearty laugh. RIP Pete~

Uncle Pete always made me feel so loved and welcome. He always had the biggest hugs and a great big kiss on the head and the most beautiful smile. My favorite memories as a kid was “bartending” for them in the basement of the Bartlett house and they would pay me with poker chips and then I got to cash in my poker chips at the end of the night. Him and Aunt Camille made our visits every summer the most memorable.

So sorry to hear about Pete. He was always full of life. Loved fishing and the Bears. He was a good man. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers

We shared so many years in RRLE with Pete as our neighbor. The Bears VS packers games were cheered on from each of us across the road. His laugh will always be remembered. Pete, you will be missed

I have so many memories and stories that I wouldn´t be able to put them all into one paragraph. But I love getting to share them with my family. I will miss him forever till we get to see each other again.
