Pete and I were neighbors when we were growing up.Maybe a couple miles east of where they lived>We were good friends with the whole family. My prayers go out to the whole family.I don't drive any more and need awalker to get around. So will not be able to get to the funeral, but my prayers go out to all of you at this sad time.I'm sure you all have memories i know i have many of us when we were growing up.And he will never be forgotten

Joyce, You are in our thoughts and prayers. I used to love hearing Uncle Pete play his accordion at our family picnics and parties when we were kids. Marsha Hertz

Pete lived next door to my family for most of my childhood. My father died leaving my mother with 5 children aged less than 1 year old to 13. Pete and his family were there for us...We knew and loved both of his children also..Bruce and Suzy..He mowed our lawn for years and I know we did not pay him. It was so appreciated, and we loved him and his family. May he rest in peace.
