Peter was one of a kind. I knew that from our first meeting. I mistook the invitation to go for a walk. I thought walk meant walk – nice stroll, look at some scenery, stop for coffee. I now know walk is used interchangeably with hike and that anything less than 10k is simply not worth getting out of bed for. I will miss you. Love Norma

Dear Peter,
I didn't get the chance to meet you, but I heard all about you through your wonderful granddaughter. She told me what an adventurer you were and what a caring grandfather you were. You are in our hearts and may you rest in peace. Kind regards,
Gabriel Mendez
