Mary Green Obituary
Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of Lloyd Samuel Green and Ella Mae Marchbanks Green of Mauldin.
She was owner of L.S. Green Plumbing Parts and was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church.
Ms. Green was also a member of Mauldin Chamber of Commerce and a former member of Mauldin Kiwanis Club.
Surviving in addition to her parents are two sons, Charles Brian Vaughn and his wife, Virginia, of West Union, and James "Jim" Richard Vaughn and his wife, Beth, of Simpsonville; two sisters, Betty Green Mitchell and her husband, John, of Mauldin and Sara Ruth Green of Greenville; a brother, Lloyd Samuel Green Jr. and his wife, Margaret, of Mauldin; and two grandchildren, Elizabeth Brian Vaughn and Charles Rampey Vaughn.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Covenant United Methodist Church with the Revs. George Riser and Jerry Temple officiating. Entombment will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
Visitation will be tonight from 7 to 8:30 at the Mackey Mortuary, Century Drive.
Pallbearers will be nephews, John Mitchell III, Lloyd Kyle Mitchell, Jay Vance Kimbel, Hugh Lloyd Kimbel, Lloyd Samuel Green III and Raymond McGuire.
Honorary Escort will be the employees of L.S. Green Plumbing Parts.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Covenant United Methodist Church, 1310 Old Spartanburg Road, Greer, SC 29650 or to Mauldin United Methodist Church, 100 E. Butler Road, Mauldin, SC 29662.
The family will be at the home of her sister, Betty Mitchell, 315 Pinehurst Drive, Mauldin, S.C.
