Dear Tom, Tina, Sam, Barbara, Maria, John, Peter, Wendy, and all of Mr. Perera's grandchildren and great grandchildren,
Vinnie and I and our family want to send you our condolences on the loss of a terrific man, your father, Peter "Pete" Perera.
He was an inspiration to those who knew and loved him. A special blessing you all had was knowing he was a healthy, vibrant man who lived nearly 98 years!
Now he is with the love of his life, Annie, as they reunite in heaven.
Rest in Peace , Mr. P.
Love,
Fran & Vinnie (Clifton, NJ)

Dad, you were more like a father to me than a father-law. You always treated me with love, respect and kindness. I know these past 11 years without Mom were very difficult and lonely for you but I am proud of how well you have managed. You will be greatly missed by your children and their spouses, your grandchildren and their spouses and your great- grandchildren, and many friends and relatives from NJ and Florida. The Pompano Beach Club will never be the same without you.
May you finally rest in peace with your life-long friend and wife Annie. We love you. Tina

Dad, thank you for the top-notch childhood...and for loading it with lots of love and goodies and never once raising your hand or voice to me. I couldn't imagine an easier or more enjoyable youth. Given the chance I'd re-live those years over and over. I can unequivocally say you are a tough act to follow as a dad! Peter
