October 20, 1942 - March 20, 2016
With his family by his side, Peter Pilz of Spruce Grove, peacefully passed away from this life, on the first day of spring at the age of 73.
Peter fought with utmost courage, a short battle against lung cancer, and through it all, never complained. We find comfort in that his family was able to share many moments with him in the final weeks. Peter is survived by his wife and best friend, of 52 years, Shirley; his children Roswitha (Michael) and Jayson (Laura); his grandchildren Lexi, Hannah and Kyle; and his great-grandchild Marlee; as well as numerous relatives and friends, and his dog, Bubbles.
Peter was a hardworking, kind man, always willing to give a hand and leaving joyful memories with all whose lives he touched.
In keeping with Peter's wishes, cremation has taken place and no funeral service will be held. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

Hey Unk...missing you. I had a HUGE muskito land on me and I laughed out loud thinking about when dad and and Tim and I visited. We got off the plane and got in the car but you pulled over to let bubbles out for a pee. You left the windows open and the car filled with the largest muskitos we had ever seen!!!
