Dr. Pizzarello, the years pass so quickly and it's unbelievable how long it's been since you've been gone. I miss you today just as much as the day you passed and I will always remember how much you helped me emotionally and to feel better physically. You were the BEST and I'll be forever grateful to you for everything you've done to help me. I miss you! So much has changed since you've been gone and there'll never be another doctor so dedicated and compassionate as you. R.I.P. Forever Loved, Never Forgotten!!

Dr. Pizzarello I miss you more than words can ever express. Although this remembrance is a little late in coming, there's not a day that goes by that I don't think of you and what a wonderful doctor and friend you were to me. You were the best and you helped me more than anybody else ever did. Thank you for always believing in me more than I believed in myself. I am where I am today all because of you. I know you'd be proud of the progress I've made. It's been five years since you passed away, and yet it seems like forever that you've been gone. It's amazing how quickly one year passed since Dr. Pizzarello left us. He left such beautiful memories behind, his compassion, friendliness, caring, kindness, and especially his dedication to his patients. To know him was to love him. I was a patient of Dr. Pizzarello for 30 years and he helped me in so many ways. He was so proud when I succeeded in losing weight for pain, exercising, and feeling better because of his support and encouragement. Even in the worst pain, his sense of humor lifted it. Never did he come in not smiling and never did I not leave feeling hopeful. He just had that way about him to lift our spirits. Losing Dr. Pizzarello is a great loss of a very great doctor and human being. I miss him and the stories he shared during my visits. He was the best and I really miss him. Although he is gone, he will never be forgotten.
Thank you Dr. Pizzarello for believing in me. RIP

What a great man and surgeon. I worked Fatima O R in the 1980s and 1990s with him - giving anesthesia for many of his cases. We had many laughs and fun times with Dr. Pete: kind man, great surgeon. He will be missed by so so many people. I'll remember him well. Sincere sympathy - a great loss / a great man.

To Dr. P's family: My sincere and heartfelt sympathy on the loss of this wonderful man. I met Dr. P in the emergency room in 1976 with a broken wrist. While he was setting & plastering it he asked where I was going to college -- told him Bryant in the Medical Secretarial Associate Degree program. He hired me that day! He gave me a chance to learn how to work in a medical office, type dictation, medical terminology ... at his Wellsley Medical Building Office on Smith St. Truly an incredible, GREAT man! You are all in my thoughts and prayers .. well done faithful servant!

Peter was a very special doctor and friend. He had a million dollar smile with playful eyes. He always made me laugh and you never knew what he was going to say. Karen was pulling weeds one noontime when Peter arrived home for lunch. He walked over to Karen and said I guess we are having salad for lunch. Everyone in the neighborhood loved Dr.Peter. May God give Peter eternal rest and maybe an old friend to play golf with.

Please accept my deepest sympathies to Dr. Pizzarello's family and closest friends on his passing. He was such an excellent Doctor and better person. When I was 16 he fixed my dislocated compound fracture of one of my fingers. When the hospital called him at the request of my mother he was there before i knew it. So vividly I remember him looking at my hand and saying "well this is a new one for me." He kept telling me everything would be okay. Before he said this is going to hurt with each step he needed to complete to fix my finger. He fixed it up very good.
