At a young age, and yet his cares are gone.

Memories don't seem enough and you feel forlorn.

But there the good times, times on Pete's behalf

That you will remeber and maybe even laugh,

What a sad loss. It is hard to describe or think how much he will missed. Most of all,of course,by Pauline and all his loving family. Our hearts go out to all of them. As for us his friends and colleagues he leaves a gap which can't be filled. Many, many are the folk in the community who were consoled by the gentleness and kindness of the "tall man" who visited them in their time of need,as he went about doing his good with the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
