Peter SMITH Obituary
Husband, Dad, Buff, Uncle,
Grandpa, Great-Grandpa
Peter passed away on January 9, 2013. He is remembered by his wife Agnes; daughters Linda and Jennifer (Gerry); sons Brian (Susie) and Eric (Mika); grandchildren Lance (Rachael), Derek (Sahye), Angela, Naomi, Graeme, Parker, Sterling and Evan; nieces Irene and Louise (Bruce); great- grandchildren Lucrecia, Gerald, Sienna and Nalani.
He lived his life with integrity, intelligence, compassion and total commitment to his wife and family. He was an honourable man with a wonderful sense of humour. To his children, he was always the patriarch of the family and an inspiration.
Peter's passions outside of his family included Scouts Canada (he was a Cub, then Scout and then Scout Leader), his profession with Mainland Industrial Products for over 40 years and his extensive involvement with the CNIB. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to his physician Dr. Douglas Lee (and Diane) who always treated him with the utmost respect, attention and care. We also acknowledge Dr. Vastardis and Dr. Tukker, as well as Mishell L. and the great staff of ward CP7C/D at VGH. A private memorial will be held on January 20, 2013. In lieu of flowers, donations to the CNIB would be appreciated.

Uncle Pete. It is hard to say good-bye to the last of this generation of the Smith Family. Lots of fun memories of the past 68 years.

Our family knew you for nearly 40 years and you were such a part of our lives at St Lukes Anglican Church. You were a good friend to our late Dad and Mom sends her respects along with my brother and I. God Bless Agnes , you and your family always . You and Agnes were an example of a fine marriage.
