Peter Snell

Mr Peter Snell Worksop A funeral service took place at Babworth Crematorium, on January 8, 2021 for Mr Peter Sidney Snell, aged 89, of Muirfield, Worksop.
A lifelong resident of Worksop, Peter worked for Oates Timber Merchants Ltd, as a cost clerk/manager for 28 years from 1951-1979. He then worked for Bassetlaw Council as a tax clerk for 12 years, retiring in 1996.
His interests included gardening, football, golf, cricket, badminton, tennis, snooker and bowls.
Peter who passed away at Bassetlaw District General Hospital, on December 15, 2020, was predeceased by his wife Janet in January 2016. He leaves son Steven, daughter Tracey, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Rouse, Mr D. Warren, Mr T. Gilham, Mrs A. Gilham; Ms D. Gilham (rep Mr B. and Mrs P. Bird), Mr G. Bowns, Mrs L. Bowns, Mr B. Cole, Mrs J. Bierton.
Donations received in lieu of flowers were for the Salvation Army.
The service was conducted by James Greely, arrangements were by Co-op Funeralcare, Worksop.
